Mental Health and Wellness
Through Guiding Star Wakota, clients have access to licensed mental health providers at no cost. These providers specialize in various aspects of mental well-being. From anxiety and depression to family counseling and relational issues, these mental health professionals work with you to overcome your mental health concerns—call us for contact information.
Fertility Awareness Education
Would you like to know what time of the month you’re most likely to get pregnant? If you want to understand your monthly cycle and take a holistic approach to avoiding or achieving pregnancy, our medical professionals can assist you. Life Coaching For Women
Life coaching is all about working together to help you grow and move forward. A coach helps you figure out what you want, make a plan to get there, and tackle anything that gets in the way.
Men’s Services
Men face challenges too, and they deserve to be supported through them.
Life Coaching For Men
Each week, a male certified life coach meets one-on-one with men to challenge, support, encourage, and mentor them. Each session helps the client clarify their personal and professional goals and make the best decision possible. Call us and ask how you can participate.

A strong and thriving family makes for a stronger community. Here is a list of our services to strengthen your family and provide the foundation you need.
Pregnancy and Parenting Classes
The better prepared you are for something, the easier it will be. Guiding Star Wakota offers prenatal, childbirth, nutrition, budgeting, parenting classes, and more. One of our client advocates will work closely with you to tailor an educational plan that fits your circumstances.
Complete a few one-hour classes, and you become eligible to receive fantastic baby equipment like a high chair, stroller, Pack ‘n Play, or car seat. Classes are offered in both English and Spanish. Schedule a class by calling Guiding Star Wakota.
Safe Sleep Program
Find out if you can qualify for a free Pack ‘n Play through our Safe Slumber Program. Guiding Star Wakota has partnered with Cradle of Hope to distribute portable cribs for newborns to guarantee a safe sleeping environment. Call us to determine if you meet specific guidelines.
Car Seat Safety Class
Keep your baby safe! Take the Car Seat Safety class, plus two additional classes from Guiding Star Wakota to become eligible for a free infant or convertible car seat.
Onsite Child Watch
We provide your children with a supervised play area during specific times of the day or evening. Call us for the current schedule.

As a client of Guiding Star Wakota, you’ll receive a detailed referral list of community services. From food banks to assistance with substance abuse, we can provide you with the many support outlets in our community.
